Introduction

Throughout the years, the kings of the business experimented as much with tires as off-road racers have done during the same time. Without dipping into off-road racing combinations, it requires a lot of creativity to produce new options while keeping in the spirit of traditional monster truck racing. The Runner tire by JConcepts is a concept tire, shaved and lowered tread to offer the smoothest driving surface of all JConcepts monster truck tires.

In the past, the only way to modify scale monster truck tires was to slice and cut by knife, taking up to as much as 40 hours per tire. The JConcepts Runner tire has a completely lowered lug to create the low-profile stance making it desirable on the racing scene. The lugs have a front and rear edge so they can dig in both directions without throwing too much free dirt. The sidewalls have radius upper corners, then chamfered, removing overhung tread to provide a light-weight design capable of driving through high-traction turns with a freeness that helps quicken the rotation.

The wide body look of the carcass fits in with multiple JConcepts tires such as the Racer, Renegades, Launch, and Knobs which can always be used in combinations. The sidewall lettering is one of the most detailed in class boasting information such as branding, sizing, and monster truck specific naming and construction specifications. The Runner tires are available in blue and gold compound and include medium open cell inserts for support and carcass definition. Match with JConcepts #3377 wheels in white, black, gray, or yellow colors to perfectly set off the vehicle.

This place is awesome! They had just about every scale model manufacturer represented. Some of the decals in the huge drawers were out of production rare! The largest scale aircraft section between Little Rock and Kennesaw I have seen.
Half the hobby side is train stuff, and they have a large RC section. There was also a more thrift-type side that was interesting to browse. Just come and look!

Absolutely love this store. Am a kit builder and they have a wide collection of those, most any brand you can think of. I try and spend my money here as opposed to the almighty eBay or Amazon since I'd like to think I help keep this place open. All sorts and brands of paint to feed my airbrush. For non modelers, they have a phenomenal collection of RC, an inside slot car track, an offroad RC test track for smaller off road cars. An amazing collection of train models and trains. Ho type stuff. I'm not into those but they have a huge variety of this stuff. Then a bunch of collectibles and a card playing corner. Definitely worth a visit!

I have been a big fan of the store for a while, but the recent renovations are blowing me away. This is a great store full of every materials for all hobbies. Trains, RC cars and planes, models, games, and all the paints you could want. The staff are super friendly and will order anything they don’t have.
